A new website for myself?

I was thinking..I might create a new website in one of the following ideas.

Please tell me which you like the most and which You would use/do.



- Create a game (with a website for it). It has been my passion since I was a kid, and IS possible, but takes a lot of time.



- A music website:

- An online magazine about rock bands/news.

- A fan site for either Linkin Park, 30 Seconds To Mars, or Lostprophets. (fansite could be a website+forum or either one of them)



- A forum:

- Technology

- Regular gaming

- A design/programming forum





Not sure of any other ideas I had. If I come up with others, I will be sure to post them.

Well, first of all you have to be unique. There's already tons of websites out there that focus on what you want to start your site about, and it's not always easy to attract people into yours instead of their already running site. So creativity is key. Same thing with forums, if you're going to head into that direction.



Technology and gaming websites exist plenty, so I wouldn't start one based on that if I were you. A fansite about either one of the bands that you listed sounds interesting.

I like this one the best: A fan site for either Linkin Park, 30 Seconds To Mars, or Lostprophets. Like mentioned there are so many forums out there now. I think a fan site would be unique and interesting. You could have a lot of fun with this and that's just my two cents worth.

If you can write well and have an interesting opinion about music then that would be the most interesting for me.

I used to own my own blog about technology and being a webmaster. Which I sold for $300 or so.



So yes, I am an excellent writer. I think I like the magazine the best so far.



@Thabawse - I agree, gaming sites are plentiful.

Because, it could be done in blog style (which is easy using wordpress on a paid host (i recommend Hawk Host). But also (should you have the money, you can buy (for $87) the Thesis wordpress theme, and you'd be able to customize the theme anyway you'd like to.

Whatever you choose however, I wish you the best of luck, but I see this taking off real fast if you create your own unique spin into providing news and criticisms.
