Ive seen some people give some shotty advice on forums before. Do you actually listen to advice people give you on forums? Do you find it annoying when someone replies saying exactly the same thing as several other people said?

When you see a topic asking for advice, do you try your best to give some quality advice or do you just post whatever?

If I don't know what to say, then I don't post anything at all. If I ask for advice on what to do on my own forum, and I get ten of the same replies saying do this then I'll say something like, Thank you for the suggestion; I will be looking into it. It all depends on what people say and how they say things. This is why I hate those peer to peer reviews that are becoming common on promotion forums, because you could get the same advice thrown at you over and over, and if you say not to complain about something because you are currently working on it, they do it anyways! Sometimes people just don't know how to listen.

I stay out of these types of topics as I am not qualified to give others advice.

If I have something worth saying that may be helpful to the person in question then I probably will post, yes.
