Welcome to Andy's Room. I've seen topics like these on other forums, but I'm not sure of their intent or purpose. I'm hoping this will be a successful thread. I hope that the drive is not just to be a general chat.

Whatever is suppose to be of this type of thread, I guess will be.

So, What's up?

Not much.

This thread might just become successful, looking at the others

I voted for hobbies / interests. Can you share those with us?

Well one hobby I like is playing on the Wii. My favorite game is Just Dance. I also like to watch movies/tv shows on the Wii via netflix. I also like computers, internet, and blogging. I also enjoy hanging out with my family, visits from my Aunt, and having dinner with my friends.

Do you have a large family?

I have my twin brother, Mom, Uncle, and Aunt. I use to have my Grandma but she passed away. There are other members of my family but this is my immediate family and it's not that large.

Well I lived on long island NY all my life, I was teased growing up. So a lot has been blocked out. I do remember some of my high school when I was having panic attacks and depression. So I consulted the psychologist at school, and I was referred to a psychiatrist near where I lived where I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and started on Zoloft @ the age of 17, and that's where the break from growing up to mental health history begins I guess...

Any other news reports? I go on GSN.com to check out the question of the day because mom and my brother (charles) were talking about Ringo Starr and the question actually had to do with him. Ringo Starr in the answer to the GSN question of the day. Get your oodles on...

Do you live in america?

If so, who pays for all your medical treatments? Are you on your parents insurance? Is it expensive?

Do you think that being teased when you were younger caused what you are dealing with now?

I don't really think so because my brother was teased at a younger age and doesn't have mental illness like I do.

I'm glad for that.

I can remember some things, like my 8th grade dance, my graduation from high school, working in the college bookstore in college.

It's just since being on medication and having had an unknown type of seizure, it probably affects my past memory and ability to form new memorys as easily.

That's why I say at 23, I consider myself even though I'm young, in early alzheimer's...

Is there any history of mental illness in your family?

From what I know of, there is no history of mental illness in the family. I'm the first in the family to have Bipolar disorder.

What's it like having a twin brother?

I love having a twin brother. He's my favorite companion. I always have someone to talk to, and he's my vent to person whenever I'm not feeling right. I'm always hanging out with him. Where both into computers sow we help each other out with that. It's great. I'll have to write about him one day in my blog.

Maybe I'll do it today or tomorrow. Have to think on how to write it...

That's wonderful and I would love to read more about him.

Do you know that you write very well and are a very interesting person?

I need your help. My blog will be a month old real soon. I need some ideas for content. If you could help me that'd be appreciated.

Thanks,

Andy...
