Inside A Primate Testing Facility

Debate Statement: It is morally wrong to use animals in this way solely for human benefit.

Debate Question: Do you agree or disagree with the debate statement and why?

I'm aware of the benefits for the human race, but I just can't help but die a little on the inside when I see animals being treated like that. :(

I don't know. On one hand I do feel bad for the animals. But on the other hand. It is for the betterment of man kind. We need the vaccines for young kids and adults.

It is morally wrong to test on animals. It is not up to humans to decide that creatures who are not us, are allowed to be tested on. However, at the moment testing on animals, at the moment, is the best way in predicting how the different internal systems affect the decomposition, availability and effectiveness of the drug. A computer model will only tell us how one system will affect the drug, not how they all coexist and affect each other.
