When people tell me they don't eat anything with a face, I ask them how they like their Sea Cucumber:

Braised sea cucumber with assorted vegetables

The sea cucumber is an oblong shaped, gelatinous creature that is distantly related to star fish and sea urchins. In Chinese medicine, sea cucumber has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat everything from high blood pressure in humans to joint pain in pot-bellied pigs!

There are many commercially important species of sea cucumber that are harvested and dried for export for use in chinese cuisine.

Sea cucumber is used in soups, stir-fries, and certain braised dishes. Like tofu, sea cucumber is flavorless, but has the ability to soak up the flavors of foods and seasonings it is cooked with. Today, we’ ll sharing you this Braised sea cucumber with assorted vegetables recipe.

@ Beowulf

Not on my food it doesn't, I don't eat grass. And I don't

make sarcastic comments at those who eat meat either.

I don't think that picture with it's comment was really necessary.

Anyway, I didn't say I was Vegetarian, I said I'm Pescatarian.

Perhaps not, but it was funny, not really against those that are vegetarians even if I believe that they're not accomplishing anything but I'll respect their beliefs all the same.

Why is it that you don't eat meat but you do eat fish?

I'd become vegetarian but meat is just too delicious.

It was a decision I made several years ago for personal reasons.

I've dealt with evangelical vegetarians who actually seem to believe that animals have souls and my breakfast sausages resulted from the murder of an innocent.

That's going a bit far.
O.o What did you say?

Humans are supposed to eat meat. It's good for you. Having said that, vegetarians can do what they like. More for the rest of us...

The amount we eat a day exceeds our need greatly though. So no, in most cases it's not that good for us.
