Has anyone been on TV? And if so, was it for a long period of time?

Unless I was accidently caught in the background of a camera, I don't think I've ever been on TV sadly :(

By accident I was out shoveling when a news van pulled up and wanted my thoughts on the recent winter, as it was pretty bad, it was getting to the point you couldn't shovel the snow anywhere.

I've been on a few TV shows when I lived in Atlanta. They have a lot of casting companies to be extras on TV shows.

No I've never been on television. I'd seize the opportunity though if it ever came up.

Were you nervous? And did you record it so you could watch it back later on in the future?

I've always liked the idea of potentially being an extra in one of my favourite shows. Is it usually easy to become one?

It’s not difficult. The casting companies have Facebook pages saying they’re looking for specific types of people. Some can be vague like “looking for college aged adults” and others are super specific “looking for Latino male over 6 feet tall and built like a tank”.

Then you submit pictures to them and they’ll hit you up with details on filming time and location.

Surprised more than anything and no, I forgot to record it, which is fine, I can't listen to my own voice play back to me.

Possibly I've shown up in the background somewhere, I do see a good few things getting filmed in town - not sure if any of it has been broadcast on TV though.

I experienced this once at a local TV station. I was with my co-volunteers 10 years ago.
