Jazzy said:I just quit a forum today. All I asked was where to find the staff list. I asked because no members have a status rank. I got a PM from some member (not sure if it staff member or not) that they do not disclose that information. What the heck??? I figured if they won't disclose that what else won't they disclose. Why on earth would you not want members to know who is staff and who isn't?![]()

It can get annoying to some or slow down their computers.
Fatal Dawn said:I wouldn't say the best way - but a good way, nonetheless - is to be sneaky. I don't like forums where everything is done under the table. Some forums need to realize that the staff don't make a community - the members do. The members deserve every bit of consideration. It doesn't matter where you go as long as everyone is going in the same direction.
I also have a problem with power-hungry people, like staff members with a superiority complex. In their minds they always have to be right and enjoy exercising their control over the forum and other members whenever possible.
