Ryan can beat Biden in debate and Obama for that matter as well. The pick of Ryan may well have been a tactic.

Are you kidding me? Ryan is a complete idiot and a total hypocrite. He would get destroyed in any kind of a debate. He is the most radical vice presidential nominee in 100 years



His budget is a complete fantasy, promising dramatic cuts with no real specifics on how they would at all be possible.



He claims to be fiscally responsible and yet he directly voted for almost every government action that lead to our debt. Around 40% of our debt is due to lost revenues from taxes during the recession. The remaining 60% Ryan voted for almost unanimously. He voted for the Bush tax cuts. He voted for the war in Afghanistan. He voted for the war in Iraq. He voted for the unpaid for Medicare Part D drug program. He voted to create the department of homeland security and to increase defense spending. And he voted for the TARP bailouts.



He's a total hypocrite and a complete joke. Him being the vice presidential candidate is the best thing that could have ever happened for the democrats.

On that note, there's not a chance in hell that Obama is going to switch VP. He's already got the election in the bag, and there's no need to potentially spoil his current momentum.

Your Bush tax cuts statements are false, the Bush tax cuts would have run out long ago if not extended by Obama not once but twice.

Yeah, but he didn't want to extend them for the rich. They are and will forever be the Bush tax cuts.



Obviously he extended them, he not going to significantly raise taxes on all of America during a recession.

Homeland security. First of all CISPA is not in effect anymore, the trade agreement fell through when the European Union that you guys all hate so much rejected it. Obama didn't pass NDAA. He signed the damn thing, it passed the house and senate with overwhelming support, it was a routine bill that got some nasty shit snuck into it. It's in the process of being worked out by the judiciary, with several rulings of the indefinite detention aspect as unconstitutional. For now Obama's signing statement stands, meaning that he won't exercise any of the powers of indefinite detention.

According to United States government rules, if vice president dies or steps down, the Speaker of the House takes over as Vice President. That SotH is Boehner.
