Only certain types of photos imo work in black & white. Those in this thread suit it perfectly

It brings a certain emotion to the picture, or at least brings it out more.

It's also one of the many techniques used by girls to make themselves look more attractive on their Facebook profile picture.

Black and white is always an indication of the past, and it brings back memories in a way that makes you reflect back and live in that moment when the photo was taken. I usually take photos and edit them later on if I want them in black and white. Color is nice too, but something about black and white causes you to live in the moment. Nice photos.
