Braces

I get braces in the next couple of months. I'm kinda nervous and worried. I want clear ones, but heard that they aren't worth it.



Can someone who has had braces let me know how they got on with them. Any advice?

well, they only ache your teeth for the first 2 days and after that they should be fine. if you need them tightened though, they shall ache for a couple of days after.

Are the clear ones worth it? What other colors are not as noticable?

Clear ones are called retainers (i assume) and they help prep your mouth for the fitting of metal braces. colours that arent as noticeable are most probably white and grey.

OK. White ones make your teeth look yellow. And you can get clear/ceramic braces. They stain though, and was wondering what colors wouldn't be notieable. Apparently red you don't notice that much... go figure.

I just had two teeth ripped out today. I almost passed out afterwards. The first tooth I didn't really feel come out, but the second one I did. It feels so wierd not having teeth where there should be.
