Buying New Technology

Do you buy the latest and greatest technology? Or do you stay a couple years behind.



Some people buy the newest version of their phone every 3 months, I find that a little overboard.



I like the new things too but I only buy things that I'll actually use now, no $500 toys that never get used for me =P

I try to stay a little behind, but when i buy something, i will stick with it for a few years. I always wait, especially with computers and new OS's until they are stable.

I usually buy the newest greatest things every year or more, depends on what I bought can do. If it's supercustomizable and I won't get bored with it then it stays with me

. Recently with all these Android OS phones coming out and iPhone, etc those are very customizable.

I stay a few years behind, because no need to buy anything with an outrageous price tag just to say you had it first. If you have the money and do not mind spending it in such a way, go at it tiger, but for me personally, I wouldn't feel right having buying something new just because it is the new technology out now. Ditto to Nebulous's statement. If it works it will remain present, until it hits the dust, then I will get the new technology.

I get a new phone 1 time every 2 years, thats good enough for me.
