A clip of a dog enjoying the delights of jumping on the bed while its owner is out is proving a smash hit online.

More than 6.1 million people have watched the hilarious clip set to the Benny Hill theme music.

The dog's owner had banned it from jumping onto the bed and decided to set up a secret camera.

When the owner leaves the house, the dog can be seen immediately entering the bedroom.
