I don't see the fun in it either. Looks more like someone wanting to make a mockery out of God. I wouldn't want to partake in such a site either out of respect for God.
Why didn't they just give it a different name then? They could have called him Sam, Mike, Bob or one of countless other names. The name affects nothing as to the functionality of the website so there was no reason to call Him God. I imagine part of the "fun" was implying that you were speaking to God as opposed to just a replica of a man or otherwise it wouldn't get much of any attention. They then make him sound stupid and ignorant so people can laugh as they imagine themselves being better then God. The creator of the site might say something different but that is what it seems the creator of that site was going for.
My browser certainly doesn't like that site, lol
