I don't know how anyone thought live action humans as cats would have been a good idea for film. Would have been better as an animated film.
Absolutely it would have. The whole thing is just a mistake.

The amount of crap Horror movies these days... :/

I loved IT!

I think the best thing about the old movies like Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th etc is there wasn't as advanced visual and special effects like there is nowadays so they had to try harder to get what they wanted.

Agreed, that's why they're masterpieces and the modern takes are...not.

I am looking forward to them remaking the classic Horror films such as Frankenstein, Dracula etc. Hopefully they take their time making those and not rush because by rushing they just make absolute shit.

Yeah, it's a real risk. Could be amazing, could be absolute garbage. In fairness, translating old to modern can go well, the broadway show Fences, for instance, makes for a great movie, too.

Wonder if they will ever make a remake of Nosferatu.

Oh nice!! Maybe that's what I was thinking of, I just remember there being something that was Nosferatu-themed somewhere out there recently
Possibly.

I still need to see The Nun 2. Love those Conjuring movies.

I never got into the Conjuring movies, need to check them out. Same with Saw, I watched the first two and then lost interest. Should really see what came from the rest of them.
They've got a new Saw coming out in cinemas. I've never seen any of the Saw movies in cinema except for the Spin-Off called Jigsaw.

I enjoyed the first Nun movie in cinema. Good to have a jump scare or two in a cinema :p

Oh, nice! Didn't realize they were still making them

Agreed, it's fun!

No film has ever really truly scared me though except for the odd jump.

Same. I went to see the original Saw movie with my sister because she was worried, I found it had a couple of jump moments and then it was just...sort of whatever. My sister was terrified, lol
