@Boogie: It was expensive but I got tired of paying rent for years for something I didn't own. I now own my house and don't have to put up with any neighbors bothering me. Peace and quite holds no price tag as far as I'm concerned.

@Jazzy: I wish we could afford to do that. We're rather glad we can afford the rent on our new place, but my partner qualifies for housing benefit so it helps pay the rent. I'm still looking for employment, but I wont give up. I still want to get into bar work, I know it doesn't pay that well, but I'd rather have a job I enjoy than the pay I get.

@Boogie: What position would you like to do in a bar? Do you mean as a bartender or as a server? I was a server once in a bar, and I quit after two nights. I couldn't take the drunks trying to pinch my butt or serving them all night and them not leaving me a tip!

@Boogie: Story sounds interesting. My dad was in the Air Force. He was transferred to other bases all the time. Seemed like we no sooner got settled in, that we had to pack up and go again. I think I could pack a whole house in under 2 hours.

Ah, I remember that kind of experience, too. My father was also in the military.
