I'm going to choke my friends little boy. He's three years old and hell on wheels. I hate when he comes to my house! He touches everything and tries to kick my dogs. What does his mother do or say? NOTHING. Spoiled rotten brat is what he is. I had my portable phone outside while moving boxes into the garage. The brat got my phone and threw it in the pond!I swear, I told his mother that this is the last straw. He's no longer allowed to come to my house EVER!
That's good that you stuck up for yourself, Jazzy! You knew where to draw the line and you know when to finally say I've had it! I tend to be kind of bad in this respect I'm not always good at sticking up for myself either so that don't help! I would've had a tough time telling that mother that I quite dealing with her kid... especially since I love little kids that age to begin with!
Hey there everyone!
Absolutly devastated right now. Sat alone in the office on lunch, feel like im going to cry my eyes out again. My beautiful Salem was hit by a car last night, killed him instantly. Vet said he'd taken a massive blow to the head and would'nt have know much.
All i can imagine are his eyes in headlights and can hear the thump. Dreading going home later, the house felt so empty this morning.

The god of thunder would not care for such a puny animal, a loyal wolf or dog would be understandable.
Why do people comment with such things when they can see people are grieving? If they think that fine, but don't post it! How feckin' insensitive!

It's actually one of the best things to do. When my old dog had to be put down, my grandfather especially could barely function, because the dog was effectively his life. His only reason for leaving the house was to take her for a walk. So three days after we buried her, we bought a new puppy, and it helped a lot. It still hurt, missing our old dog, but having a new one made it easier to bear. I don't know about you, but my family has never been without a dog for more than a week in all my 23 years of being alive. Not having one would just be wrong. I guess it may be the same for your dad.
Yea, we are the same, Both for cats and dogs. All my life we have had more than one cat and dog. Now we are just down to 1 dog and 1 cat (but he is 13 nearly 14)
Dad's been looking at an Egyptian Mau for a few months now. We've always wanted a Bengal, But the Mau has similiar patterns but I think is more of an indoor cat. Mum will only have a cat as long as it stays inside. As Salem was a stray we could never get him to stay inside, he always wanted to go out, and keeping him in stressed him out so much he kept getting ill. He was a beautiful cat for the last 3 or 4 months. Slept all day, ate his food then went out for a prowl
Dad would prefer a Bronze Mau but they are quite hard to come by and would have to travel the otherside of the country to get one. Silvers are much more common.
