Yep. I predict the power lines are gonna freeze up and may lose power, with Duke Energy (our power company) give some statement about how they're trying.
While IPL (power company in the City of Indianapolis) will be all fine.... lol. I say that cause usually IPL will have WAY fewer outages than Duke will have.

Yeah, we do. Duke's outages are usually more out in rural Indiana counties. Hamilton County is more urban since it sits on the northern border of Marion County (the county Indianapolis is in), so it's probably less likely.
I remember one day our power was out for 45 minutes because a insulator blew at the substation down the street. That was weird cause not only did our power go out, but all the traffic lights in Carmel (city I'm in) went out too cause of that.

Internet will probably go though cause Duke cuts the cable company (Bright House Networks/Time Warner Cable) when a line needs repairs. Happened once during a very bad thunderstorm, I called Bright House and they said it was down cause Duke Energy needed to repair a power line and state law says the power company gets first say on repairs.

Sucks without internet but I can see their point by letting the power company get first say. Power is more important than internet.

At least I have my 500GB USB 3.0 drive so I can work on my software project more! (I said USB 3.0 cause it supports the new version of USB that transfers at around 5 gigabits per second, compared to the speed of USB 2.0, at 480 megabits per second).
