Same with the hospital. It kind of doesn't make sense since they allow sick days to build up and accumulate over the years. They do, however, give us an option to 'cash in' unused sick days once a year in December. Last year, I 'cashed in' 15 days and got a nice bonus check.

So, let me get this straight: You basically HAVE to put in for vacation time whether you want to or not?
