@Smooth: That image is adorable and very true!

@Nebulous: Lucky you!

They're on this new thing where you can't let vacation days build up and accumulate over the years. Because when you eventually end employment through them, they have to write a check for all that time you've built up. They'd rather you use all your days each year to avoid that situation. So... they're making use up the 6 days before they roll over into next fiscal year (which starts in July).

Same with the hospital. It kind of doesn't make sense since they allow sick days to build up and accumulate over the years. They do, however, give us an option to 'cash in' unused sick days once a year in December. Last year, I 'cashed in' 15 days and got a nice bonus check.

Wish I could do that, our sick days are "use them or lose them" ...I think you get some sort of credit on your retirement for a sick day accumulation but it's not 100%.

So, let me get this straight: You basically HAVE to put in for vacation time whether you want to or not? I'd find this a welcoming change, especially if I was feeling left out or really stressed, but I don't think I've heard of vacation days be mandatory before.

Next week at my meeting, I could very well see what could be my first girlfriend after 22 years of my life.

Are you meeting someone from the internet or something?

Yeah. I need glasses but I don't want them. Otherwise I would be wearing them too. :P

I would assume contacts are better because you can look at everything around you without turning your head instead of whats straight ahead through your glasses, plus you have nothing on your face. :P

If you're used to glasses best to stay with what you're used to. But if not then try both options.

Thinking about going to the store to get some oil & gas for my lawnmower and mowing my backyard. :|

Sounds too much hard work. I'll get one of the Dispecible Me minions to do it.
