Honestly no. We got over a foot of snow and some ice. A lot of people have called in today.

Last year they did when it iced over. But when they send you home, you get docked on your pay. Today is a waiting game to go home.

Not many benefits where I work at. Not sure about sick time.

For those who are hourly, they don't get paid if they don't come and clock in.

Salary gets paid any way. But they have been docked before.

Not bad. Tired today more than anything. Mom had a cold over Valentine's Day weekend and now I think I might be getting the start of it today. Been feeling a tad stuffed up and congested all day. Adding some last minute music to my iPod, gonna browse a few forums, see how mine's doing, and might take something for my nose and lie down for a while.

Rest and some fluids is a good idea.
