Colored Pencil Drawing

Does anyone do this? I would like to try that, maybe follow a youtube tutorial or something.

I used to draw with colored pencils all the time back in the day. Liked them better than crayons but I liked markers more.

My niece does anime with prismacolor markers and she's really good at it. I like the less messy kinds of mediums. I did a colored pencil class years ago once and really enjoyed that. And it's something I could pick up and put down versus painting for instance. That involves a lot more prep , clean up, dedicated space and such

Not something that interests me, as I have quite a short attention span. I was gifted an adult colouring book once and I think I only completed 1 page and then I never picked it up again. I know some people who do it to relax and find it rather therapeutic.

Yeah you'd need a dedicated room for your "studio" if you wanted to get into painting.

Some people do, my grandma used to do coloring books.
