Hello, guys I'm in need of keeping my system cool. Seems like every summer i have to purchase new parts, for my computer due to it over heating or temp's topping 80+ i clean out the dusk like every week, i keep all air hole's open to breath. I went through two power supply's, an rams. IDK? My friend told me about CPU Cooling sink's. How would i go about knowing which one i need is capable with my system any one know some site's?

Sorry bout that. I've never had that problem before. Perhaps if you buy a mini desk fan to help keep it all cool.

I would do that but I'm afraid it might cause static charges to my pc.

Edit: doing some more research i learned my CPU Fan sockets are Socket 462 / Socket A

Think i'm just going to save up some cash an buy a new computer i did enough upgrade to this fellow one.

Got any recommendations for desktop's?

I do 10 hours or more a day. Photoshop, Music production. Some gaming time to time?

Socket A coolers are getting harder and harder to come by as the platform is seriously out of date.

However, I suspect you current cpu cooler will be in need of the following. Remove it from the motherboard and give it a good clean, including cleaning off all the old themal pad/paste using a little isopropyl alcohol. Make sure you also remove any residue from the cpu's die.

Once done, apply some new thermal paste, instructions can be found HERE. Replace the heatsink and see if that helps at all.

If you don't feel comfortable in doing this, then I suggest you take your computer to a good pc repair shop and have them do it for you.

Oh Howard. LOL. I never knew about the thermal paste maybe i should do the following an yeah i found a site selling them but their out of stock at the moment. An yeah I'll feel like doing this. i love doing hand on things.

Off topic.

Ignition cylinder, we got an 90 Oldsmobile an old car where you got to take it all apart to reach one part. so i took a look at the the steering wheel an started taking it off an everything. Then it has so many tiny parts but i still went through it, with an over look of an uncle LOl.
