Dead body or Halloween dummy?

A resident of an apartment complex, the victim of an apparent suicide, was on his balcony all week. Authorities were not notified because the neighbors assumed that it was part of a Halloween display.

Scary... honest misunderstanding, but spooky at the fact it was really your neighbor!

I'd be dramatized for a good week or two..

I understand you would make that mistake if you didn't know the guy living there, but I'd think you'd know what your neighbor looks like and go hmmmm. (I might go check)

Well it was an apartment complex. You can get new neighbors all the time living in those.

True. It just seems pretty sad that no one noticed he was dead for a week. (maybe that's why he committed suicide)
