What are your thoughts on death penalty? In my country death penalty is not allowed by law so the maximum sentence you can get is 40 years. You can murder 100 people and max you get is 40 years in prison but you will go on trial just after you end the punishment for another crime, so it is like for life

I know in many countries it is allowed but I am against it because I want those people to stay there for life. Death is not something special. What do you think?

Personally I don't want the government executing anyone for any reason I don't believe the government should be in the business of killing and punishing etc...for me I'd rather be killed by a mob than by government agents because at least my tax dollars didn't fund my death...

Certain crimes deserve the death penalty, such as child rape. It also serves as a deterrent to people considering committing those crimes. Clearly a prison sentence isn’t deterring enough.

What about those who didn't commit the crime who are in jail or executed by the governments that your tax dollars contributed to...?

This is a rare and unfortunate situation that we see in the headlines sometimes - a person who, after decades, if finally pronounced innocent when evidence vindicates them. I'm always glad to hear and innocent man has finally been set free. No system is perfect, and I would hope that before prescribing the ultimate penalty, there was either a confession or rock solid proof of their crime, or better yet, both.

Confession isn't bad at least even if they innocent they want to die...but in all other cases it could turn out to be your money contributing to kill innocent people which is no better than being a murderer yourself since your money financed the killing of wrongfully accused...it's bad enough just to jail or punish the wrongfully accused but killing them is something you'll never be able to rectify...

I disagree with this statement. Once it has been taxed and taken away from me, it is no longer my money. I didn't authorize their taking of my money, nor did I authorize the killing of anyone, innocent or guilty.

My country's last execution was in the 1920's. I think that juries should raise sentence to prevent people to commit crimes. If you know that doing that you will be imprisoned for a VERY long time and just having a meal per day (like in El Salvador), people will think twice before acting.

If you're caught killing someone you know that you're gonna end the same way.. do you think that people won't think twice before doing it? do you have any suggestion on how to prevent crimes (in a more efficient way)?

Increasing risks of a very high sentence in jail or even death penalty, definitely has to reduce at least something. Very high populated countries of course will have numbers in murders, but the percentage of people comitting them must be low.

I gotta disagree with you there because history has shown even when hangings and the worst punishments from governments it never effectively reduces or eliminates crimes...think about it even in medieval times they disemboweled people regularly or chopped peoplee's hands off for stealing and still pickpockets and thieves everywhere...

I'm willing to try anything else at this point rather than continue to blindly hand over my tax dollars blindly to pig governments selling false sense of security...

For example with smoking or seat belts was it laws that made people change no it was education and people choose themselves to be safer and not get cancer from smoking etc...

I don't want a pig cultured government anymore I rather try an enlightened government and start by replacing pigs and this pig justice system with things that actually prevent crime like letting us defend ourselves instead of expecting everyone to run and hide and wait on the phone while calling the police IT DIDN'T HELP ISRAEL WHEN THEY GOT INVADED THAT SHOULD BE PRIME EXAMPLE THAT PIG CULTURED GOVERNMENTS ARE NOT EFFECTIVE...

This will not stop them from doing it. They are deranged and they are not led by rational thought, but by impulses. It doesn't matter what punishment you say they will get, they will do it anyway. Plus, death is nothing for them. People like them are being raped in jail, that's real deal for them.

I always believed Capital Punishment was a gift from the State to the victim's families saying we killed that asshole who murdered your loved one. Kind of like giving someone who was wronged some peace of mind.
