I grew up with both parents. And I had very good parents. They took good care of me, were supportive in life and made sure I went to college, etc. Oh, they had their moments. They seperated and I moved out with my mom for about a year when I was in 3rd grade. But I missed home and she decided to move back. I think it was more for me and they werent the best matched couple but they made it work and they loved me and my sister. So, I had a good and fun childhood that was low stress. And it really did surprise me when I got older and heard how some of my friends grew up because I just assumed everyone had a good childhood like me. But, sadly, many did not.

I grew up with both parents, both are still around, but they both have taken different routes on life now. My mother has divorced my father of 26 years...cause of me saying something. My father has become an inspiration on the family like always, he does different jobs and just turn 60 in October. He has congestive heart failure and Diabetes?!

I didn't have a good childhood at all. I had an abusive alcoholic father around for a few years then it was just me, my brother and mom on welfare. It was a struggle, but I suppose it builded character. :)

Glad you made it thru that!

Both my parents and they are still alive and around. Dad has more health issues than my mother, though.

I grew up with my dad and elder sisters, my mom passed away when I was 4 years old. And my dad is always far away being an official in the military.

10 Days after I posted this, my dad passed away due to a heart attack.
