Occasionally I will drink soda. I like Mountain Dew, Rootbeer and Dr. Pepper.

I only like soda with alcohol. I don't drink them on any other occasion.

I have to confess... In my case, I have them a lot!! Guess how many sodas I drank last year. 106! :P

I like to get a fountain drink every once in a while. But I normally don't drink soda unless I'm using it as a chaser. :drunk:

Whenever my wife and I can afford to get sodas, we get mostly Coke related products. We also like some other soda products as well.

I have them semi-regularly. Left to my own devices I'm more likely to pour myself a glass of water though.

I only ever drink fancy root beers, sarsparillas, and ginger ale/brew. Because I'm fancy.

You know a person drinks a lot of soda when they keep track of how many they drink each year... :P Was this a bad year for you? Hehe did you go down since 2012!

Normally, I'd drink 1-2 of the plastic bottles of soda per day. Honestly, I could care less about TV commercials telling you to stop drinking soda.

I don't really care what you believe. I've been downing a 12 pack a day since my early 20's.

I eat once a day and I'm nearly 250 pounds. It's all coke.

I wouldn't say I drink soda regularly, but every once in a while it's nice to have a diet coke..

I'll probably have no more then 10 a year. It's mostly during social settings like at a party.

I used to like Mountain Dew, but even with that, I would only drink maybe one can a week at work, if that.

Then when I noticed it contained fire retardant, I quit drinking it all together.

Bromine poisoning isn't on my list of things to do. And Bromine is a cumulative poison, it builds up in your system over time.

Brominated vegetable oil — or BVO for short — is a food additive sometimes used to keep citrus flavoring from separating out in sodas and sports drinks, such as Fanta, Mountain Dew and Gatorade. Controversy has long surrounded the use of BVO. It's banned as a food additive in Europe and Japan but not in the U.S.

Although the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) originally categorized BVO as "generally recognized as safe," the agency later reversed that decision. Currently, under certain conditions and on an interim basis pending more research, the FDA allows BVO to be used as a food additive.

Health concerns about BVO stem from the fact that it contains bromine, the element found in brominated flame retardants. Only a few studies have looked at possible safety issues, but it appears that bromine builds up in the body. There also have been a few reports of people experiencing memory loss and skin and nerve problems after drinking excessive amounts (more than 2 liters a day) of soda containing BVO. Some beverage manufacturers are even considering taking BVO out of their products.
