Do you have many friends?

Never had "a lot" of friends. Always kept it to a small handful of people. There are pros and cons of having a lot of friends vs a small amount. For me having a small handful of friends just makes things easier and more manageable. Also you get closer with people if you aren't spreading yourself too thin.

I have very few friends in real life. I'm not good at making them in real life or keeping up appearances for the friendships to be long lasting.

Heck, I've only made one true friend my entire adulthood (I'm 32) that still remains my friend to this day.

Few. I transferred high schools in 10th grade and just never made any other friends. Didn't happen in college either, or at least I never met anyone I actually did anything outside of school/work with. Making friends as an adult is hard.

Thats the truth!

Also, other adults don't really want new friends it seems like, which makes making friends a thousand times harder.
I've tried reaching out to people and asking them to do stuff, but it always falls through and I just kind of gave up.

If it feels forced then I am out. Or if I am the one doing all the initiating and planning stuff, then its a one sided friendship.

Making friends as an adult is hard.
I couldn't agree more and this is a constant subject I see talked about on Reddit. People generally get into relationships, some have kids, some have busy jobs, some are introverted, and some people just don't care for friends. It's sad that it's hard to build a friendship circle as an adult, but I guess it is what it is.

Us adults all want more friends but we don't want to do anything about it. Lol

Not really and that's how I like it. 'I Am A Rock' by Simon and Garfunkel is my theme song.

No. I had a few and most gave up on me when I came out
