do you prefer to take the elevator or the stairs?

I'd rather take an elevator in a big building seeing as stairs can be very repetitive and tiresome.

I'd rather take an elevator.

The elevator is fine with me, never been stuck in one so it's not like it gives me anxiety about anything like that. If I feel I need extra exercise, I may take the stairs instead.

Stairs if I know I can tackle them without too losing my breath too much. I have asthma, so it often acts up when I use the stairs, but I like to try to take them more so than the elevator.

The lift as I cannot negotiate stairs.

No although I know what one is. Not being American, I don't feel the need to use Americanisms, although I like your use of 'math' rather than 'maths' for 'mathematics'.

These stairs are getting old. :p

This depends on which floor I have to go to and whether I have time or not. Normally, I take the stairs when I have to go to the 4th floor. I take the elevator if I have to go to the 5th floor and beyond. If I am in a hurry, instead of climbing the stairs, I sometimes take the elevator even to go to the second floor.

I'm disabled and have Dyspraxia, so if the option is there, elevator.

I'd rather take the elevator, but if it takes too long to get to me I just say screw it and take the stairs. Did it a couple times when I was staying at a hotel for work-related training upstate.
