I figure I'd combine two shows into one thread. Since I've heard that they are both connected to one another.

Yeah they are. Doctor Who has been running for ages...since the 70s I think....but it was cancelled for a while and came back to TV a few years ago.

Torchwood is a spin off series from Dr Who.
