Does having a really bad day wear you out?

If my day is downright bad, the stress wears down on me. When I get home I want to sleep it off. It just burns me out.

Yes! 100% it does. Especially when dealing with family constantly during a stressful day. Ugh.

Sometimes dealing with abusive customers ruins my day. I have to say that I put up with a lot of bullshit and some days when I get home, I just need time to decompress.

Yes, and I just want to do nothing and stay home

It does, as it's normal but I recuperate fast. I can easily leave work at work if you know what I mean. Usually I just have a good meal and watch my favorite TV show or I go play volleyball which is a great way to get some frustration out!

A stressful day has two affects on me. The first is it puts me in an almost hyper state: can't sleep, too wired, overthinking. Then once i get through that, i crash. I just keep to myself for awhile and try to regroup.
It also depends on if whatever was stressful was resolved. If it was resolved in a positive way then it won't drain my energy and i can continue without missing a step.

Depends on how much stress. Sometimes a little is fine and I won't feel wiped out, but more often than not I'm finding myself drained of energy even after a small amount of stress.
