Double Posting

I apologize if there already is a thread like this somewhere in the pages. But do you allow it or prefer it not to happen?



Now with mine, I allow it to an extent. Mostly in our Comics Reviews areas. And the Solicitations and Weekly Shipping Lists. And one thread where the member usually just posts nothing but artwork of various women from comics and the like. But other then that. I try to keep a limit on it from happening elsewhere.

Some people here do it when they are responding to several questions (like in the interview section).. They must not know we have a multi quote button

Click that on all the posts you want to quote and then hit the reply button and they will all be there waiting for you.

I'm a Mod on the forums I'm more active on, and we strongly frown upon double posting. The only exception is if you are bumping a topic with a legit reason, or if it's something like a showcase and you are adding more to it. Otherwise, it can be called Spamming and lead to some consequences...

Yea same here. Don't see why people have a big problem with it, unless its obvious spam.

I don't mind double posting as long as it adds something constructive to the topic, whilst I would rather that they just edit their post I don't really care.

Double posting is fine. As long as it's not spam/quintriple posting or whatever.

Everyone makes mistakes. Also, some people don't have very good internet, computers, or any combination. So I can understand why some people double post. I usually just delete it and gently remind them that they double posted. Other than that I try not to let it bother me.
