I had never seen so many electric cars all at once in the same area so no wonder the gas prices are going down.

As I was enjoying My usual cup of coffee outside here in Sunny California I saw five (5) different electric cars moments from each other and all in the same general area. A Fiat, a Ford, a Nissan, a Tesla and then one of those small electric "smart" cars!

What about in your area, are you also seeing more electric cars?

Yeah... I saw a Chevy Volt a few minutes ago, in fact. :P

I've seen a few Chevy Volts also but not today...

Nope, not in the area I live!
Well, sunny California is usually ahead with new trends like solar, electric cars, etc... :)

LOL I did think it must be a Cali thing!

Nothing wrong with that... :) LOL!!!

Actually those types of people are the most annoying. Can't stand overly arrogant, pompously self righteous jerks who love to do things like buy a hybrid and rub everyone's face in it.

Nothing wrong with driving a hybrid, its actually a good thing... just be humble about it. Do it for you, not to have something to brag about.

/end rant

Actually they are buying Teslas now and no longer Hybrids. Essentially Hybrids are no longer "trending"... :)

Insert whatever word fits in place of "hybrid" and my sentiments are the same.

But even tough electrical cars are trending these days Tesla Motors is still struggling!

I don't know what cars are electric/hybrid, so I wouldn't know if there are more in my area.

Living in a very Earth-friendly state/city, there are quite a few "smart" cars or electric vehicles. You see more and more of them as time passes here in Portland.

Yes Florida has plenty of those annoying hybrid cars. Every time I see one of those Chevy Volts I want to ram it for all the tax forced payers money wasted on that piece of junk.

Anyways we have a Tesla dealership near me and when I pass it quite regularly it is ALWAYS empty. Over priced junk is what they are.

Nope! Teslas are actually really nice cars.

I agree, I wouldn't waste my money on one...

Right now Teslas are a status symbol for the higher end markets and as such not for everyone...

How is that a reply to the post you quoted? Are you calling me trash because I don't care for that brand of car?

No, I'm not calling you anything but rather "clarifying" the present target markets for Tesla Motors... :)
In others words, one needs to have a very high income and also looking for a status symbol in order to consider and then buy a Tesla.
Right now they are high end (expensive) sports cars with a very powerful electric engine.
