I really thought that Twitter had everything ready to become the no.1 player. But the recent fiasco is troubling. I like Twitter because there is less poison when compared to other social media. And the interaction is less nonsense because it is short.

I feel like Facebook is dying too, So we only have quick chat like Discord and Snapchat soon.
 
That would be bad. I know they are associated with a lot of negativity, but there are many good things too.
 
Yeah, "only having quick chat" would be absolutely horrible for internet culture IMO. It's good for some things, but it's terrible for more structured conversations that have long-term value.

(Of course, Twitter and Facebook are terrible for those things too, but still!)

It sadly seems to be the way the internet is heading sadly :(

Forums are dying, Facebook has lost profit in recent months and Twitter(not the most in depth chat though) has it's own issues, quick chat apps like Snapchat and Discord are thriving.
