After reading my post over in the Forum Experience thread, I got to thinking about the subject and figured I'd go ahead and ask the question: has anyone here ever been banned from a forum in the past?

Quoting what I wrote over in the Forum Experience thread:

Once. From a forum which was MY creation. Luckily I had the chance to access the Admin CP and transfer my 'ban' to the member who banned me. :lol:
 
Yeah I got banned for being a friend of the person they were really after. Guilty by association I suppose. Oh well, didn't phase me. :P
 
A few times for various reasons, many of which I felt were unwarranted and some I know were totally my fault.

grammer nazi admin banned me..........then his site closed..........then he joined a forum where im a moderator.....muhahahahahahaha :halo:
 
Yes, once. The forum had been sold to a new owner who brought in his own staff members and way of doing things. I (along with a lot of the original members) quickly went from staff member to banned.

That's what happened over at WATWD to a friend of mine when I got post-banned there; she got tarred by the brush of association, which also grates at me after these past few months....
 
I think explained That i was very long time ago(ealyier similar topic)
on now defunct forum called AqworldsZoneForum or azf

Back during 2011-2012 when was young or kid
The forum activity started go down hill.i foretold that one day it shutdown
But didn't help that staff were immature for the time
I made topic "these are not swears" or something or the like
I made mistakes before this was third strike the. Was banned and then made things worst by crated new accounts just fit back in

Oh i did forget minson that they banned founder of the forum?

then may 2012 AZF shutdown for good

Long story short: up until about mid-June or thereabouts over at WATWD, I was one of the regular posters over there and a regular in the forum's Walking Dead AU roleplay. I asked one of the admins over there, TG09, a question in regards to the RP...well, TG09 came back w/an appallingly flippant response that got me pissed at him. I responded accordingly...it spread to other parts of the board and eventually, me, TG09 and the board's other admin, Valentino, got into it in a few other places.....

...end result: I got post-banned for about 2 weeks over there., lost all my RP characters 'save one - and TG, that mf'er, can have that one - and eventually just slowly drifted away from there; I think my last post there was a few weeks ago. Do I regret what happened? A little bit...look at it this way, Nebulous: as much as I respect Valentino in regards to her skills w/avatars, sigs, forum skins and coding, I have absolutely zero respect for her as an admin. In fact, I'll go a step further on that one, Nebulous: I'd have more respect for Smooth, of all people, as an admin over there than I would for Valentino....and given that I don't really care for Smooth all that much, that should say something. :whistle: :whistle:

Before I forget, though...I had planned on going out in one last, napalming blaze of glory over at We Are The Walking Dead Voldemort's Forum; this was what I had planned as my last post over there:
 
Of course, since most forums are just sandboxes for their owners/moderators who usually can't handle the real truth.
 
I was banned at a forum, which was due to the fact that I posted decently there. When I made another account to ask the reason, the Administrator told me that members could only make very few posts a day. The whole community was rude in more ways than one. They un-banned my original account and banned the other one. Like the members there, the staff was just as snotty as the rest of the place. I never returned there. I can't stand rude/dramatic forums at all.

I know a lot of people who that happened to. That's such a shame.

....come to think of it - and adding to my previous thought on the subject - the admins over at WATWD are also slightly hypocritical too... :whistle:

....now that I've thought some more about it, maybe they - the admins over there - along with the aforementioned admins over at WATWD can do the following....

The first website that I joined, I spammed up with links to my "Cool NEW WEBSITE 4 Wrestling videos and matches!1!!!" and they banned me. I soon learned that that's frowned upon.
