What do you like or dislike about Facebook?

I've never really liked Facebook. I only got it back then because everyone else did. :p

These days, I hardly use it. I just check it occasionally, but that's all. I don't have many there, less than 40 .... so I won't miss any messages even if I don't check it often:LOL:

It’s so cringe of all the boomer memes posted there.

Like this was seen on a Facebook feed and like what?

I ended up having to delete Facebook. It has caused me a lot of problems in the past. It's badly effected my personal life and it almost cost me my job once.

A lot of social media has had this effect on many people, but I’m glad it turned out okay for you in the end

Just Disinterested

Both? I don't really like it that much and mainly use it for its messenger. I do follow a few groups as well, but other than that, I don't use it for anything else. Haven't even posted for over a year.

Neither, really... I mostly just use it for memes, and talking to my friends.

(Oh, and chess puzzles :P ).

I am not really into the whole social media thing and found FB too intrusive in bugging for you to add more information. And I ended up with a lot of friends who were really just people I knew from the past and just checked up on, wasn't really looking for a permanent connection. And then there's the cavalier attitude to privacy and sense that the reason they want all that data is not for you to share with your friends but for them to share with their advertisers. At this point, given some of the remarks Zuck has made about privacy (or lack thereof), such as criticizing Apple's move to tighten privacy controls on iOS, I won't use any of Meta's properties until he is gone and someone less cavalier about my personal information is in charge.
