I didn't have a favorite band for a very long time until I discovered the Deftones in the early 2000's. Since then I only listen to their music. I've had at least 2 ex girlfriends in the past complain that I should listen to other things and that listening to one band is bullshit. I can't help it. I like the Deftones and other projects by their lead singer. Chino is one of the best singers I've ever listened to. I can't break away from them.

Probably still The Moody Blues at that point. My sudden engagement with metal in 2020 kind of pushed them down the list a bit, but they were my favourite for decades.

After Year Zero I kind of fell off with their new stuff. The one they did with HEALTH is great, though. Sounds like it's going back to old roots.

My favourite band 10 years ago was The Used. They are still one of my favourites to this day.
