Fav Dog Breed?

What is your favorite dog breed, and why?

Greyhound. They are for the most part quiet, calm and extremely well-mannered. They can be very sensititive and sometimes timid. Despite their independent nature, they are eager to please. Greyhounds relish creature comforts and love soft bedding and warmth. The Greyhound is the ultimate running dog and is built for speed. Because of it's speed the Greyhounds fate has been sealed. They are used for track racing. When a Greyhound no longer wins, the owners of these dogs have been known to starve them to death or even worse, kill the dog. The lucky ones are picked up by rescue groups for adoption after they have been socialized. The track racing of these magnificant dogs needs to be banned!

yorkshire terrier.....this was my Fudge......lived to be nearly 16......broke my heart when he passed on

also got a soft spot for border collies and westies

He is gorgeous! And what a lovely name, it really suits his colouring.
