Primarly because they don't have brominated vegetable oil (sometimes listed as BVO) in them, which can, shall we just say, cause unfortunate issues if you drink too much of it, or even just drink some of it every day.

I don't like soda but I do like dr. Peper or coca cola as a chaser to brandy or any other dark liquor.

If you drink a lot of Mountain Dew you may wish to look into the long term effects of bromide poisoning from brominated vegetable oil.

Dr. Pepper is my absolute favorite soda to drink. I drink it everyday, but if I can't get a Dr. Pepper its another Coke product.

Tango Orange. Preferably canned. Bottled tastes different somehow, less fresh almost.
