Now, either Proboards or Xenforo.
They were cool. The themes on that platform were some of the best I've seen on forums. They just needed a decent alerts system. They did have add-ons that created similar functionality but it still needed some improvements.

It's such a shame what happened to vBulletin. 2000 -> 2007 they were the undisputed kings of forum software. No one could come near them. Then the Internet Brands takeover and cracks started to show...then the takeover by the investment firm and wow was the decline rapid. vB4 was a train wreck for most of its' life, vB5 still is. I miss the old days, the old team...they knew what they were doing! I'm glad Kier and Mike moved over and started XenForo, it feels a little bit like the older days of vB, with more modern software.
Eww, Tapatalk. Yeah, Brandon made a huge mistake merging with them...terrible.
He screwed over a lot of people at Zetaboards when they merged; I know this because that's what I've been told happened.

I liked ZetaBoards a lot but then it turned into Tapatalk. I love XenForo, it has a nice slick feel to it, if that makes any sense. It's easy to use and I love the layout. The themes are beautiful and I admire how you are not forced to use mobile themes. I like themes that look good on your PC, and they work good on your phone as well.
