Favourite Music Genre?

What’s everyone favourite music genre? Or favourite type of music?

I lean towards Hard Rock / Heavy Metal and casually some Hip Hop!

Same here I personally think Metal is the best genre, most think it’s just ‘screamo’ but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Absolutely true, metal is so much more than just a bunch of screaming over guitars and drums. There's so much beauty in it, so much skill and passion, it's fantastic.

Whatever sounds good, it can be from metal to jazz, just has to have the right tune and singer.

I’m mainly Metal but I can listen to Bruno Mars too, One of the most talented non metal singers.

I personally prefer Soft Rock of the 1980’s. Bands like Chicago, REO Speedwagon, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard. The music in the 80’s consisted of big hair bands as well as electronic dance music. I know many artists also utilized synthesizers. The songs I liked consisted of finding & having love, beating the odds in life. I’m not too keen on the newer music. Maybe I’m biased lol & because I grew up with a certain type so anything less is ‘not good enough’.

Except mine is hip hop & metal but if it’s good I listen to it!
