I will be getting the game, I have started playing the demo, although I am essentially right at the start of it. I am not very fond of the piano minigame though. Haha so hopefully they don't lock good things behind player scores in that. I am not sure how soon I will get the game after release though. Outside of the demo, I am avoiding trailers so I can mostly go into the game blind.
I can't wait to get my hands on this game. I love what they have been doing with the remake.

Right. When I first saw that I was completely gutted. Just ruined. I also was home from school so I had time to grind and get to that point.Since this is an alternate timeline, I hope Sephiroth doesn't kill Aerith this time.
Looks really exciting and better than part 1!
I ended up preordering it today, hopefully this means that I will get it tomorrow. Been playing the remake of Crisis Core and it has added to my hype for the game. From what I have heard, coverage of it is extremely positive which matches my positive experience with the demo.
I played the demo and now I am hyped. I also have pre-ordered it. It's downloaded to my console but locked until tomorrow.

My issue is that these games have way too much grind. Graphics are great and all, but I tend to lose interest if all the game does is push you to do the same thing for hours on end.
Did you end up getting it? As it came out on Steam at the start of the year.
I ended up really enjoying it. There were some parts which I found a bit tedious, typically more of the open world stuff and some of the minigames. But overall I really loved it. The world could be so amazing to explore and the greater depth to the personalities and interactions of your party members with each other and other people in the world was pretty awesome.
