Some shows end with unanswered questions and some tie up all the loose ends. Some don't really have a story of progression and just end with a regular episode.

What show has the best final episode? Worst? Memorable?

I never cared for what they gave us with the final episode of Smallville. We should have gotten to be able to see him in the suit. And a way better fight with Darkseid.

As in the other thread about pilots, Breaking Bad had a great finale. They tied up all the loose ends and it was just perfection! :)

Anyone remember the Lost catastrophe? Allthough I guess the last 2 seasons were getting so ridiculous 10,000 plotholes had to be ignored...

Another horrible one must be Chuck. That show was AMAZING until the last 3 episodes. That show was up for cancellation every half season, so they did an awesome job wrapping things up 7 times already, the last time however was sooooo cliché and not at all rewarding. I know open endings are the new "thing" to do to look fancy, but come on...

As for best one, I really loved the last Spartacus episode. It was an epic end to an epic series. Also heard great things about Breaking Bad but I'm not there yet (in the middle of season 3 now).

The whole last season of That 70's Show was pretty lame (watched it recently on Netflix). Eric and Kelso got too Hollywood and weren't on the show until the final crappy ass episode. They shouldn't have even done the last season and ended it earlier.

0_o Why bother without Kelso? Lame indeed.

Yeah it was also weird with all the rest in the gang still being involved with Eric's parents. It didn't make much sense.

Well they did have the basement. Plus Hyde lived there, and the fact they had all been pretty much involved in everyone's lives by that point when those two weren't around as much. Can't just drop that.
