First Site?

Oh gosh! This will take some thinking. Well, we got WebTV (anybody remember those? lol) in 2000 I believe. My first contact with the worldwide web. Dial up service so very slow! I’m thinking the website would have been a birding one. I honestly cannot remember what it was. I’m amazed when people CAN remember the first site they joined.

That must have been Caramail, back in 1999. We'd send each others emails in highschool when we were in the "computer lab".

I feel ancient.

It's amazing how much the internet has changed since then :D

I want to say it was 2006, I joined the old G4 tv forums, got going with some people who revealed there was more than G4 forums and the rest is history for my site.

That’s an amazing story and great on how you started! :)

Mine started when I got my first Nintendo DS :D

Mine was MySpace I can’t remember exactly but roughly 2006 - 2007 :)
Mine was neopets. I was at my sisters friend house with my sister. We saw here playing a game and it turned out to be neopets. I made my own account. I have played over the years and the site is still standing to this day.
My second was myspace though

Nice! :)
I have to check it out, it’s amazing how we went from neopets, MySpace and now it’s Facebook :D

Then again Facebook isn’t as popular as it use to be due to TikTok, etc..

If you consider yahoo messenger as one, then it's the very first one I ever joined. It should be around 1995 I joined it.
Good old yahoo messenger. Facebook and the rest killed it off. It's really a shame.

The first site I visited......I can't remember. I remember the first forum I owned but I can't remember the first one I visited ever.

I actually started out one with Blogspot domain some years back. I named the Forum "The Base". I eventually lost interest in carrying it forward.

My first forum was a forum based on a book series that I enjoyed called the Last Apprentice series written by Joseph Delaney.

There was a movie on it right? I can't remember vividly but I still can't shake it off that easily.

I don't even use the main Facebook that much but the messenger aspect of it have been so cool for me.
Facebook is low quality content, Facebook is just a time feel for everyone, I remember the yahoo days back then I was using MySpace :D

Exactly, Facebook is filled with kids lately and they don't have much to offer. It's even why the way accounts gets banned on it is high.

I used MySpace too back then, the blue homepage is still clear in my memory.
