It is stories like this that make me proud to be a Floridian. But I am sure at this moment Al Gore is firing up that jet and burning thousands of gallons of environmentally unfriendly fuel to straighten out us sun drenched citizens.

Kristina Trotta, another former DEP employee who worked in Miami, said her supervisor told her not to use the terms “climate change” and “global warming” in a 2014 staff meeting. “We were told that we were not allowed to discuss anything that was not a true fact,” she said

Pretty ignorant, honestly. Climate change happens whether it is driven by humans or simply by the force of the Earth. I don't see why banning the term will help, especially when it hasn't been proven as a scientific fact that global warming/climate change does not exist. To this day, it is merely speculation and an unproven theory by some crock pots too uneducated to realize the planet has gone through some SERIOUS changes in its climate for billions of years. That's like saying the sun revolves around the earth, and that the earth is flat.

I'd like to see all of those emails and by how many people were actually talking about it being fake.  What is their credibility?  Evidence, please.  And not from one of those crack pot conspiracy theorist, right-winged, republican websites you like to conjure up.  I prefer as unbiased as possible.

we're talking about what the earth does, it's a fact that earth is heating and not cooling...  it's also a fact that the sea level is rising, i wonder why that's happening?

the government trying to force people not to believe in something is something i thought you'd be against... what if the government started to ban other "terms"?

I am sticking with the term the environmental loons started with.

You and I may be talking about what the earth naturally does but that was not the purpose for the creation of the term climate change. The term was meant for it political purpose and nothing else.
