My friend is currently working on a custom theme. Well, it's based a lot on the standard vBulletin, but recolored and we're going to be changing a lot of the icons. Once that's all done we'll have it available as a sort of "Version 1", as the default, but keep the theme selector enabled in-case people wish to switch.

I just noticed you registered; thank you very much for that! :)

Also, I don't know who the site owner is, but if he/she reads this would you mind sharing some tips on how to promote based on your Off Topix experiences? :)

Sounds good. http://www.completevb.com/vbulletin-skins/ has some good skins. I used them when I was on vB.

It looks nice. Something should be done about the Morbid Dark skin though; it's a fixed-width that is EXTREMELY cramped (a quick check using prntscrn/Paint tells me it's around 630px wide) and the rest is just dead space.

Well it's not my theme so I don't think I'm allowed to edit it; people liked it that way anyway so for now I'll just leave it and focus on our own. :) Thanks for the feedback though!

Hey all!

Just thought I'd provide a little update/bump on our site advertisement. :D

We're doing very well, to put it simply! We have over 100 members, 1000 threads and almost 10,000 posts; for a two month old forum this is a fantastic achievement and I look forward to seeing what happens over the course of our lifetime. Of course, we need YOUR help to get us off the ground, so if you're looking for another place to chat about just about anything, Confab-It is right up your alley!

We're a friendly, mature community suitable for ages 13 and over. We have discussions on gaming, sport, TV, music, computers and everyday life! We wish to be at the forefront of general discussion/chat communities, so become part of something special today! :D

Small update, but we released our forum theme recently and so far feedback has been positive! We haven't completely finished it yet and there's still plenty to do, but we're slowly working on it and it'll hopefully appeal to most people. :) We'll do different colored versions in the future.

Other than that, the forum has been fairly active recently as we work hard to make it one of the best forums around. If you're looking for something different, check us out at www.confab-it.com. :)

Current statistics; Threads 1,718. Posts 16,589. Members 219.

We're really doing good. I'm quite pleased with what we've accomplished so far. :)

A few updates. We had to change our forum theme as the person working on our own was no longer up for the task, so now we've got three premium themes which I'm going to edit overtime to make them more unique to us. :) We've also created and published our forum status icons which we hope will make us stand out a bit more. Currently we're focusing on advertising, getting achievements sorted and also working on establishing regular competitions (we've set up Member Of The Month and a story competition already!). Aside from all the new posts and members, there's not much to make note of at the moment.

Hope to see some of you pop over. :)

Tonight ConFab-It reached 412 members and 23,000 posts.

We also added a section to promote your sites and a marketplace to sell or buy just about anything you like. You do have to reach 20 posts to use these features.
