I won't correct people on their mistakes, but I notice them and they irritate me. It puzzles me when I read people's work and they make basic errors. I got the same education as people at my school, but so many of them are just plain lazy. It's not like you have to be clever to use proper English.

It's understandable when the mistakes are made by people who know English as a second language, but if you know English as your first language then there is no excuse.

Never. I've seen in writing communities the so called grammar nazi having issues with grammatical errors not being able to tell the difference between waste and waist so yeah.

I'm not bothered by it, and I'm not here to correct anyone's grammar. Funny thing is, I can spot mistakes when I see them, but when I write, it's like I struggle to get things right. Lately, I've been fixing my grammar before posting because I want my posts to be clear and understandable.

With so many posts, I think it's important to keep them in good shape wouldn't want the forum to look like it was written by a little kid

Anyway, why worry about others' grammar when mine isn't perfect either.

I tend to let grammar issues in others slide by but I am f-ing ruthless with my own writing. Not sure if that's being a Grammar Nazi or a Grammar Masochist.:confused2:

If they blatently misspell easy words, then yeah im on their ass to correct it.

Not really no. It's the last thing I think about. A lot of people misspell shit all of the time, especially on the internet.

100% I HATE people who either misspell, don't use proper punctuation, etc. I especially hate the shortening of words.
