I wonder the same thing myself. You can use them for anything now and they're a lot smaller too.

I saw a while back a newspaper article which said cellphones from the next 20 years will be inserted into the human body so robbers won't notice them.

My first ever cellphone was an old Nokia 2260 from 2003. I had it back in May 2007 and used TDMA networks.
Now I've just started to plan on getting the Nokia XL (recently announced) which might come here (CR) by end of June.
