Happy New Year! Who is making a New Year's Resolution?

I'm doing a "low sugar" January...not no sugar because that's crazy talk. But during the weekday I will avoid candy, sweets, etc... and on the weekend I'll let myself have something small.

It's been nice so far; I think it was the best time for the holidays.;)

I'm doing pretty well with my New Year's resolution of low-sugar January. I'm sticking to fruits for my sweets instead of all those things I've been eating for the last 3 months on a daily basis. Have I noticed a difference yet in my skin or body? No.

A1C problems?

Nope, I am not diabetic. It's just that I noticed that my husband and I had been eating something sugary sweet EVERY day since September and that had to stop. So, we switched to fruit instead except on weekends where we can have one or two things. Now it's Monday again and it's back to fruit for our sweets. My husband went through so many bags of Halloween and Christmas candy it was insane! I didn't bake a lot, but somehow I still ate a lot of baked goods. ow.

Yes, the baked goods during the holidays, time for me to get back to reality.
