If you dislike the 'here comes the bride' tune and wanted to change it up, be different,

what other music would you walk down the aisle to instead during your wedding ceremony?

Probably some kind of retro electro, maybe electro-funk instrumental dance number. Those are always fun!

Would you actually do that in your actual wedding? :!:

I'll never get married, but yeah--why not? XD All of my family knows I'm quirky and non-traditional. I couldn't have a black-tie affair.

There is something still to be said for tradition.

And, anything that is "In" and "Trendy" today will probably look dated and stupid in short order.

Imagine if your wedding video showed the bride coming into the chapel in "gangnam style".

Then, later, your family and friends, and kids, will ask you, "What were you thinking?"

I think the thing about that, though, is the people getting married don't care. It was fun for them on their special day and that's what matters. Besides, I wouldn't pick a one hit wonder from YouTube and dance down the aisle to it if I were getting married. I frankly don't care about tradition, especially since I don't plan on ever getting married in the first place. XD

Lol, I don't think anyone thinks Gangnam Style is trendy or hip though. I sure dont. :P

That said, though, Gangnam Style isn't a one-hit wonder. PSY is one of Korea's top-selling artists.

When my mom and step-dad got married in 1997, they replaced "Here Comes the Bride" with the hymn "Morning Has Broken". Turned out pretty good and interesting concept to break away from tradition.
