If Internet-History was a school subject,

what historical events would you be taught?
 
Early Arpanet days, commercialization of the Internet, introduction of broadband, introduction of wireless, etc, etc...

How it was developed by a scientist Tim Berners-Lee working in CERN so that he and other scientist could share documents, and then after it's creation he gave it to the world for free.
