I don't think that anybody has the right to question this - its equality at its most testing. If somebody tells me that being gay is wrong, then I just say to them that I have every right to live my life the way that person does.
Religion doesn't have the right to dictate to me how I live my life, and neither does anybody that follows it. I have no issue with anybody that practices religion, or a black person that marries a white person...

I believe it is wrong for the same sex to be together & to get married. But, before I am attacked, I have no problem with homosexual people as individuals, even though I'm against their orientation. Why? One, partially spiritual beliefs, and two, I personally believe male and female were destined to be together. As far as same sex marriage is concerned, I'm totally against it, but hear me out. First, marriage is between a male and a female. Second, if the same sex desires to get married, then that would corrupt the meaning of marriage, as it is between two members of the opposite sex. If they use another word for their bonding & relationship status, I could care less if they're going to be together.

I personally think that god doesn't have a problem with gay people at all, and i think that it is in fact a secret test. God wants to see if people are okay with gay people. I mean come on people! we were born this way, it isn't our fault!!

Next i have always belived in equality (i'm always making sure i have the same amount of female and male playable characters in my game ideas) So if two guys or two girls want to get married, i say why not?

I like to be shown a reason why gay people should not marry that doesn't involve religious beliefs.
Also: the meaning behind marriage has long since been corrupted and made into a joke so let's not act like gay couples would make a mockery of it when celebrities and quickie Las Vegas weddings alongside the 50 or so percent divorce rate have done a good enough job of that on their own.

straight people have made marriage into more of a joke than gay people could if they tried. think about it like this: there is nothing wrong with two people who love each other getting married. or has this changed since the last time I looked?
Since marriage is a Christian and - by most accounts - homophobic ritual, I personally don't see why any gay person would want to get married.
However, I've nothing against homosexuals. They couldn't change their feelings even if they tried, so who am I to judge?

Nobody can truley understand unless your gay yourself. No one knows what it's like to be shunned by society all becuase you were born to like the same gender.
Think of it this way straight fellows, What if someone didn't allow you to get married to your opposite other? wouldn't you be mad or sad?
Jonathan your an odd one, you have a good belief on marriage as I saw in another thread. But when it comes to homosexuals you just pass on it. Just like you said it's a bond of love, but I guess that doesn't always apply for you.

I'm not saying homosexuality is as bad as pedophilia (or bad at all), but I can understand why some people have difficulty accepting gay people. After all, there's only a thin line there between morally right and wrong.

When it really comes down to it, and you leave whatever deity you believe in out of it, homosexuality really isn't that wrong at all. But religion is what makes people think like homosexuals are disgusting, and somehow not human. Look at the Westboro Church, famous for their God Hates Fags campaign. They run around accusing gay people of being evil, horrible people, but in reality, they're the evil ones.
